What We Are All About
We are a group of musicians from all walks of life, and all ages.
Our regular rehearsals are on Wednesday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Anglican Church,
7 Kirkland Street in Kirkland Lake, Ontario.
Extra practices are held before big events. Lessons are offered by conductor David Gillett.
Instruments are provided by the band. Our season extends from September to June.
We perform a variety of songs and different genres of music.
In our area, take part in competitions, feature our young people, promote local talent, and enrich the lives of our community.
We are registered as a Charitable Organization.
The Band holds annual meetings, makes voluntary monetary contributions, gets support from
service clubs and grants from ie. the Trillium Foundation.
We always look for new challenges with enthusiasm and commitment, and continually strive to play good music.
